Local associations and seed groups
Our organization today consists of 5 local associations, seed groups and a national association. Each association conducts local activities for its members based on its ability and the members' wishes. You are warmly welcome to get involved in one of our local associations around the country!

Our seed groups are networks and smaller groups.
Running a local association can sometimes be too big a project for smaller towns, which is why there are our seed groups that are linked to the nearest local association and the national association. Seed groups are self-governing clubs or networks run by members. It takes at least two members to start a seed group, where one is the contact person for the association.
Our association structure starts from the members and is characterized by commitment and democracy. It is the members who together decide which issues we will pursue and what we will do. It is also the members who create business through their commitment. The purpose of a seed group can be to create a local network for faith and LGBTQ issues, or a meeting place for Christian LGBTQ people even if the locality lacks a local association. A seed group decides for themselves what they want with their group and network. Maybe create a Rainbow service together with one of the local congregations, arrange a lecture or invite to a discussion evening? In some places, workshops, coffee evenings, film screenings and book clubs are organised. Everything is based on a non-profit commitment and if you have ideas, there are plenty of opportunities to implement them!
Anyone who is part of a seed group needs to be a member of one of our local associations, which are Stockholm, Gothenburg, Sydöst, Mälardalen and Skåne. You are warmly welcome as a member even if you live far away from the nearest local association!
Are there any of you who want to organize in your locality?
